When asked about his goal for ministry, he says, "My calling is to cheer people on to the finish  line that the Apostle Paul spoke of in Philippians 3:14".

He loves all sports, including golf, and enjoys music, playing the guitar, and "tinkering" with several other musical instruments.

Proverbs 19:21.

"I am so excited to be here because in my heart I know God has good things in store for Cooks Hill Community Church."

Center in October, 2007.

"It is indeed a blessing that the Lord would allow me to serve him in this capacity.  Children are such a gift, and it is very rewarding to work with them and each of their families."

CHILDREN'S COORDINATOR:

Laura Hall

E-mail

Laura was born in Michigan and graduated from Spring Arbor College in Michigan with a degree in Elementary Education.  She married Shawn Hall (our Youth Pastor) in 1991 and they have 2 daughters, Michaela and Mariah.  In her spare time, Laura enjoys running, volleyball, 1,000 piece puzzles and the ocean.

“My desire is for children to come to Christ and

for them to grow in their walk with God.  Children are so honest, that's what I love about them.  They don't carry all the baggage we adults carry around.  Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me.”  That's what I want here at Cooks Hill - for the little children to come and to know they are loved and valuable to us, but especially to Jesus.”

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR:

Linda Perkins
E-mail

Linda and her husband Byron came to Centralia  in the fall of 2004 from Anchorage, Alaska. They both grew up in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and then raised their three children in Washington in the Okanogan Valley.  After the kids graduated from high school and left home, Byron’s job with FedEx took them to Alaska and in 1995 they relocated overseas.  They lived in the Philippines for three and a half years and then in the Middle East in Dubai, U.A.E. for another two years before heading back to Alaska in August, 2000.

"It was a great adventure for us but it’s wonderful to be back in Washington and closer to family.  Although, I will dearly miss the salmon fishing in Alaska! I love working with the wonderful staff and congregation of C.H.C.C. and I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in this capacity."
